Classic Wedding at Eau Claire’s Lismore Hotel

I had been eagerly awaiting Michael and Meredith’s wedding for nearly two years, and everything about their day completely surpassed all my expectations!
From the unique suites where the bride and groom got ready for their day to the roof top bar which made an ideal backdrop for their first look, The Lismore was an incredible venue! The bartender even made Michael and Meredith samples of their signature drinks to enjoy during their portrait time - it was such a lovely way for them to get an early start on celebrations while outside on a hot, sunny day!
They were such naturals in front of the camera; if I could photograph them every weekend, I would sign up for that job any day! Their joy and excitement was so contagious that it would have been impossible to not have the best time with them. :) When their families and wedding party joined us, the good times continued with matching sunglasses, epic slow-mo movie walks (minus the explosions behind them, of course!), and some of the best champagne pops I’ve ever seen!
The ceremony celebrated their love - and patience getting to the altar in front of family and friends! - and was a privilege to witness. After a walk to the river for photos in a beautiful little park, we met their guests at the reception, which continued an already wonderful day by featuring great food, heartfelt speeches, and lots of dancing! And HOLY COW, did this crowd have some dancers! Not only did Meredith and her dad perform a special father-daughter dance that included surprise video footage from one of her dance recitals as a child, but their guests had the dance floor PACKED all night long - it was so much fun!
It was a day that won’t be easily forgotten! Congratulations Michael and Meredith!
