Held at Genesis Ranch in Rosemount, MN, Abigail and Kristian’s wedding day on a breezy Saturday in May was straight out of a dreamy fairytale. They wanted their day to be elevated, joyful, and full of love; the setting, decor, and emotions flowing through the event more than hit the mark to create a setting that evoked feelings of contentment, peace, and the beauty of their love story. The most incredibly supportive friends and family were by their sides throughout the day, lifting them up and pouring positivity into every moment. 

How can you plan for the unexpected? Even the most perfectly planned weddings run the risk of getting slightly off-track…and that’s okay. It happens to just about everyone! It’s all about feeling prepared and knowing how you want to handle things in the moment - so let’s dive right in!

Question: Should you drive more than three hours to find the perfect secluded beach for a fun and flirty swimsuit photo shoot? 

Answer: Obviously yes! 

April and Josh’s anniversary session is the proof that you can make your photos anything that you want.

The struggle is real. 

You’re engaged to the love of your life and you’re excited to jump into wedding planning. You’re touring venues, flipping through bridal magazines, and setting an official date. Then you start looking for a photographer. Each one seems to have such different options that it’s nearly impossible to compare them! As many modern love stories begin, Kourtney and Jalen met through a dating app. Their first date was at a Minneapolis brewery, where they bonded over their affinity for beer and how grateful they were to enjoy warm poutine together on such a chilly evening. Their connection was so strong that they went through three different servers during that first date because their servers kept ending their shifts! 

The fall season in Minnesota is, in my opinion, the best time of the year in our state. There’s a crispness in the air, the leaves are peeping golds, oranges, and reds, and you catch your breath at the beauty of Mother Nature every time you turn around. It should be no surprise that it’s a wildly popular season for weddings in the Midwest - and that I look forward to every one of those events each year!
